Paleo pumpkin pie
A healthy alternative to the classic pumpkin pie.

It is easy to overcook this recipe so when you can insert a skewer or knife into the centre of the pie and pull it out without any mixture sticking the pie is done.
Prepare the pie base following the recipe for our Healthy paleo pie base
Preheat the oven to 180o
Place walnuts and cashews into a food processor and pulse until smooth. Add the eggs and honey and blend for 2-3 mintues until completely smooth - add a little water if the mixture is too thick for your processor.
Add in the rest of the ingredients and blend until they are all combined.
Poor the mixture into the cool pie shell you prepared earlier and spread it out evenly with a spatula.
Bake for 30 minutes checking regularly.
