Healthy paleo pie base
This amazing pie base has a nutty taste and is prefect for sweet deserts like our paleo chocolate tarts or pumpkin pie.

Preheat the oven to 180oC.
Blitz the walnut halves in a food processor until they are finely ground and start to take on a buttery texture.
Add in the rest of the ingredients and mix until thoroughly combined.
Use your hands to press the mixture into a 9 inch pie base. Start with the sides and work your way into the middle until you have an even layer all the way around.
Use a fork to pierce the bottom of the base. This will allow air to escape when cooking and stop the bottom rising up. Bake for 15-20 minutes until turning slightly brown.
